
About Me
Mrs. Amarachi Mgbemena, LCSW, is the founder of Grace Counseling Services, LLC, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. She is a compassionate mental health therapist with extensive experience helping individuals, families, and couples navigate life’s most difficult challenges.

Amarachi earned her Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University and her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Seton Hall University. Her clinical journey began at Trinitas Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ, where she provided care to individuals facing complex mental health needs. Since then, she has worked as a Mental Health and Substance Use Therapist, supporting clients struggling with depression, trauma, anxiety, and life-threatening circumstances.

Today, Amarachi continues her work in a psychiatric hospital while also serving as a Child and Adolescent Therapist, where she helps young people manage OCD, anxiety, and life transitions. Her expertise spans across treating mental health disorders, supporting individuals through grief, and guiding both young and older adults, couples, and families toward healing and resilience.

With a deep passion for her work, Amarachi is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for every client. She believes in building trust through compassion and open communication, with the goal of helping people restore balance, find hope, and improve their quality of life.
